The makers of Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz have managed to land a casting coup of sorts with their show leads Surbhi Chandna and Nakuul Mehta as Anika and Shivaay respectively. Christened as 'ShivIka' by their fans, the duo has managed to take over millions of hearts.

But did you know that Gul was looking for a pair that shared the exact exuberant chemistry as that of Surbhi and Nakuul's? And when she caste Surbhi and Nakuul, she landed the perfect match.

Well, Gul seems to be lucky when it comes to the pairs on her shows. Her shows have given fans legendary pairings like that of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Barun Sobti and Surbhi Jyoti in her web series Tanhaiyaan and Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover in Qubool Hai?!And, she seems to have gotten lucky again with Surbhi Chandna and Nakuul Mehta in Ishqbaaaz. Well Gul, we are not complaining for we love them equally as much!
