Karan Kundra and Vikas Gupta have been friends for a long time now.

Vikas Gupta is addicted to social networking sites so much that he never leaves a chance to keep his followers updated about his on-goings.

And this time, Karan challenged Vikas to stay away from social media! Vikas too accepted the challenge and deleted all his accounts.

We contacted Karan told us, "We had an argument on addiction and Vikas said that he can't live without his Instagram, Twitter and Facebook access. People know him more than some of the actors on his shows! He is like the Karan Johar of TV. So it was a challenge for him to stay away from all the limelight and mainly what he is addicted to."

Vikas added, "I think social networking sites is a wonderful way to be in touch with the world and people who love your work. Yes, it's true that they are an integral part of my life but Karan challenged me that I can't live without it. I am on an online detox. I have deactivated all my social media accounts for some time."
