When Divyanka Tripathi and Avantika Hundal 'WOWED' one and all with their classical moves!

The episodes of Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein sure make you guys laugh out loud these days!

Raman (Karan Patel), dressed as Gulabo, has been entertaining the viewers for the past few episodes and as per the current track of the show, the Bhallas and the Iyers are in celebration mode with Shagun's godhbharai happening.

In the upcoming episodes, Gulabo and Ishita are scheduled to perform, but Gulabo gets carried away into the peppy beats and Mihika has to interfere to shoo him/her away.

And that's when the sisters break into a classical dance!

Decked up in heavy Kanjeevaram sarees, Mihika and Ishita will shake a leg to the Tamil version of Baby Doll. Here's a small glimpse of what the ladies will be doing:

We got in touch with both Divyanka Tripathi and Avantika Hundal and here's what these pretty ladies had to say about their experience of shooting the dance sequence.

Divyanka shared, "I don't know classical dance. I learnt it for a few months when I was in Kindergarden. I couldn't pursue it for long. However, now that I'm an actor, I just learn everything on the spot and perform. We get five to ten minutes of rehearsal time after learning it. Also, this one was quite easy. "

But the actress is willing to learn Bharatnatyam now.

"Whenever I get time in future, I'd like to learn Bharatnatyam though. My mom, Mrs. Neelam Tripathi has recently completed 7 years in Bharatnatyam and has also given a solo performance in Bharat Bhawan. She's a great source of inspiration to me. When she can pursue her dreams at this age, I feel even I must push myself out of my comfort zone and do things which are difficult for me. I'm already on the path of reinventing myself."

Avantika Hundal who essays the role of Mihika in the show says, "I had taken classes for Bharatnatyam way back when I was in primary. But now I do not even remember the basic steps. While performing for the scene, it was an actual challenge for me as my pallu' was not pinned. But I managed to pull it off."
