What's keeping Monica Sharma busy these days?

'Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls' fame Monica Sharma is currently missed on screen by her fans. But the talented beauty is keeping herself occupied with the things she loves to do.

TellyBuzz had a candid chat with Monica to know more about what's keeping her busy these days, her bond with her previous co-star, Meera Deosthale, and her plans to comeback on television. Read on to know what she has to share with us...

Talking about her sabbatical phase, Monica told us, "Currently, I am doing MBA, so I am focusing a bit more on studies. Apart from academics, I am also getting featured in music videos with some famous Punjabi singers like Kulwinder Billa, BIG Dhillon, Nachattar Gill and many more. I love to travel; I was in Canada for almost two months and I explored the place pretty well. Then I went to Shimla for the Hindi song, 'Haal' and I could save some time for myself to see the beautiful city. I have been continuously travelling since then. Right now, I am on my way to Assam for Kamakhya Temple and I am coming here straight from Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Pushkar Brahma Temple."

It's known to all that Monica shared a lovely bond with her previous co-star, Meera Deosthale, who is currently seen as Chakor on Colors' show, 'Udann'. We wonder if Monica manages to follow her show and if they have been catching up post their show wrapped up. Monica told us, "Meera and I are good friends, and honestly I haven't been watching her show but I had seen her few initial episodes, and she is doing really good as Chakor. Everything is just perfect. Meera and I just met once after Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls. I keep travelling and her shoot keeps her really busy, but we often talk over the phone and through messages."

We also asked Monica about her plans to make a comeback on television. She told us, "Actually, I was finalised for a new show and also shot the pilot for 8-10 episodes, but it got postponed or scrapped. Since it's Monsoon now, things are taking place a bit slowly, but definitely, you will get to see me doing lead soon."
