Digital seems to be the 'go to' thing for entertainment these days. And taking over, are a number of web series. Web Series is the latest emerging trend, and audience does seem to enjoy the medium. Streaming sites like Netflix and Amazon prime produce some brilliant content, and the latest (well not so latest) addition is the first ever Indian Netflix original Web series - 'Sacred Games', which is based on Vikram Chandra's thriller novel with the same name.

Most of you must have watched the series and already know of it's brilliance. Be it the gripping plot and story line, amazing direction or the strong star cast, the series has blowed everyone's minds.

While we all loved the star cast and it's tough to imagine other people playing the parts, we re-imagined the cast of Sacred Games with TV stars. Here's what will happen if the Sacred Games cast was re-imagined with TV stars:

Arjun Bijlani as Inspector Sartaj Singh( Saif Ali Khan)

Inspector Sartaj Singh is the hapless honest cop whose integrity has cost him respect of his crooked colleagues and his wife. He is a tormented cop looking for a motivation in life. While Khan has literally outdone himself in the part, we think Ishq Mein Marjawan actor Arjun Bijlani can totally pull off this character. We have seen him doing intense scenes and it will be interesting to watch him play a Sardar.

Jennifer Winget as Anjali Mathur (Radhika Apte)

Radhika Apte played the role of a RAW agent, fighting her own battle with her colleagues and we wonder is there anything this woman can't do? But won't it be interesting to see the talent powerhouse Jennifer Winget to play the part? We're sure she's gonna make a kickass RAW agent.

Rubina Dilaik as Kukoo (Kubra Sait)

Kukoo was undoubtedly one of the most famous characters in Sacred Games, for obvious reasons. She is charismatic and a total show stealer and not to forget, Kukoo ka jadoo (Spoiler alert: She is a transgender). Who other than Rubina can nail the part? The Shakti actress has played a transgender on small screen and her jadoo would make the perfect kukoo.

Ekta Kaul as Zoya Mirza (Elnaaz Norouzi)

Zoya Mirza played by Elnaaz is a troubled Bollywood actress with a secretive past, and is stuck with an abusive boyfriend, played by Karan Wahi. We think with those looks and acting chops, the Mere Angne Mein actor Ekta Kaul seems right for the role of a disturbed and secretive Bollywood actress.

Rajesh Khatter as Parulkar (Neeraj Kabi)

Parulkar is the commanding officer of Sartaj Singh and has shades of grey. He's strong, powerful and dominating. While Neeraj Kabi has played the part to the tee, we think it would be interesting to cast Bepannah actor Rajesh Khatter for the part. We have seen him play negative characters as well as varied characters with utmost aplomb, and we think he can surprise us by playing a cop.

Sunil Grover as Constable Katekar (Jitendra Joshi)

Constable Katekar, played by popular Marathi actor Jitendra Joshi received a lot of praise. He is the loyal sidekick of Inspector Sartaj, but has his own moments in the show where he proves his acting prowess. We think casting Sunil Grover for the part would be enthralling as we all know apart from being a wonderful comedian, Sunil has delivered some commendable performances as an actor. And also, his jodi with Arjun Bijlani (playing Sartaj) will be fresh.

Well, we know all of you are waiting for the cast of the boss man Ganesh Gaitonde played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, but unfortunately, we can't imagine anyone else in that role. Ganesh Gaitonde is the hero of the series. He is brash and brutal but somehow, you can still resonate with his character. He doesn't really do heroic acts but still owns the space.
