WHAT? Popatlal from TMKOC SACKED from the show?

Popatlal aka Shyam Pathak is an integral part of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and fans cannot imagine the show without him. Recently, his part in the show was in jeopardy and we know why!

Apparently the actor was asked to go on leave by producer Asit Modi. And, this happened because he took an uninformed leave from set all the way to London. Dillip Joshi who plays Jethalal was at a London event not long ago and the organizers from the city requested for Popatlal to be present as the duo are l=much loved on the show. 

Shyam Pathak was quick to fly down to London and the makers of the show were left uninformed. Since he didn't show up for his scene the producer decided to ask him to leave after a heated argument that escalated. He had to stay home for four days before apologizing and returning to the shoot.
