Young, vivacious and versatile actress Kanisha Malhotra, who has acted in shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Maharakshak Devi, Jai Bajrang Bali, Webbed, Gumrah and many others is busy exploring new dimensions nowadays.

The lovely lass is now assisting director Ram Gopal Varma film titled 'Killing Veerappan'.

Kanisha said, "Yes, I am working on a film and this time I will be behind the camera. I am enjoying every bit of it. I learned a lot and it is helping me brush up my acting skills too. In my view, every actor should work on the other side of the camera to understand process of film making. Ram (Gopal Verma) sir is the most humble director. Though a veteran in this industry he appreciated the inputs I contributed which big directors do not entertain. It was tough and tiring as we shot in the deep jungles of South India."

When quizzed about future ventures Kanisha shared, "Currently, I am writing short films and a web series. Apart from that I am looking at interesting television projects as well"

Good luck Kanisha!
