What will we become when we grow up is always a mystery to us till we actually reach the peak of our careers. As a result, our occupation always turns out to be something that we would have never aspired to be as a kid.
This week Debina Bonnerjee spoke to TellyBuzz's What If….. on what she dreamt of becoming as a child and where she has finally landed.

What If….. with Debina Bonnerjee

Till a certain age I wanted to become a doctor and then my inclination was towards being a teacher. But later on my liking grew towards being an Air Hostess and then to Computer Engineering. In between I was also pursuing my Classical Dance Classes after which I had great dreams of becoming a professional dancer. After my schooling I had a chance to become an engineer but destiny had its own plans and it brought me into acting.
Like all parents, even mine were very apprehensive of sending me into the entertainment world as they were particular about my education. It was my father who took the initiative of applying for my Post Graduate Programme in Public Relations. I used to manage modeling and studies very well and also passed with good marks. But later on they grew over confident (laughs) and my father wanted me to do MBA, which I was very adamant of not doing.
I am glad that I am in a profession where I can be a Doctor, Teacher, an Air Hostess, a Computer Engineer and a Dancer, whenever I want."
