What If... with Kritika Kamra

"Considering that fact of what I was doing while I got into acting, I would have been a stylist or a fashion designer had I not been an actor.

I was actually doing my course in National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi while I got into acting. I thought I would complete my course, but I guess destiny had something else in mind.

More than a designer I would probably had been a stylist because I love to observe and do styling and also fashion photography is also one thing that I am looking forward to do.

When we are in an industry like this people feel that we have an ample opportunity to try our hands on styling and the dresses we wear. But not everything is possible once you are in. And frankly I do not indulge in those things when I am acting. When I am acting, I am just the character and there are people to take care about our styling and costumes.

Speaking about the costumes in my shows, I feel that Kitani Mohabbat Hain 2 had more variety in style than in season 1. At the same time in television shows we cannot experiment too much with costumes. But personally I am comfortable in both Indian and western outfits.

Personally I am not so picky about Designer wears because I like to mix and match. I really respect the work they do and would not tag it as costly or expensive etc.   I like designers like John Galliano and Manish Malhotra etc. Also I like the way Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone carry themselves. But I guess Sonam Kapoor experiments a lot and I love the way she does that because not many do that. I like if some really have their inputs in the way they dress."
