WHAT?! Devoleena Bhattacharjee's bank account HACKED!

While progressing and developing technology has its perks, the number of its cons (pun intended) has also risen. And testimony to this fact is actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee.

Devoleena woke up this morning to a huge shock when she received a message that a sum of Rs. 16000, had been transferred from her bank account to a place in San Francisco.

Realising immediately that her account has been hacked, Devoleena got her bank account blocked and is following up with the bank officials to sort the issue.

Says Devoleena, "I just learned about it today morning while checking my inbox. I got a message that 16k has been transferred and I did not even shop. Then I suddenly realised that my account has been hacked as the message indicated it was transferred somewhere in San Francisco."

Elaborating further the actress revealed, "I got my account blocked and am resolving the issue. I just want to say that people need to be more careful while by using their credit cards. And they should be more protective about the password digits."

Well, Devoleena is not the only actress to have faced a bank fraud. Actors like Nakuul Mehta, Adaa Khan and Waseem Mushtaq among others have had to bear the brunt of such scams.
