A couple of months ago, actress Aditi Govitrikar’s sister Arzoo Govitrikar filed an FIR against her husband Siddharth Sabharwal accusing him of physically assaulting her. The FIR that was lodged Dadar Metropolitan Court against businessman Siddharth for allegedly abusing Arzoo in alcohol-fuelled rage. Along with the complaint, Arzoo also submitted CCTV camera footage of February 15 which shows Siddharth slapping her. In the complaint, it was also mentioned that the couple had a heated argument over Siddharth’s alcohol consumption, shortly after which he dragged her to the bathroom and hit her brutally.

Well, as per the latest development, the court has now ordered Siddharth to stay away from their Worli apartment until any further notice. Arzoo, who married Siddharth in March 2010 after a brief courtship, resided with him at their Worli apartment, before she moved out in February after a brutal round of abuse, as she termed it.

According to the reports in Mumbai Mirror, after another round of heated arguments on February 22, Sabharwal spat on Arzoo and repeated the act when she protested it. The Mumbai Mirror report quoted Sabharwal as saying, “It was she who asked me to slap her saying she was rehearsing for a crime show. I will respond to these allegations at the right forum.” The report also claimed that Arzoo has alleged Siddharth had taken sole custody of the couple’s five-year-old son without Arzoo’s consent.
