What Attracted Juhi To Chalk N Duster?

 

Juhi has already started shooting for her next film, Chalk N Duster, and we hear that the actress is quite excited about this upcoming project which is produced by her make up artist, Subash.  

Ask the actress what attracted her to the role and she says, "I play a teacher in Chalk N Duster and what drew me to the film is the script.  Its a very engaging and sweet story - one which will make you just want to get up and clap at the end. It is a heartwarming film and I hope the audience response is going to be just the way I had imagined it to be the first time I read the script."

Opening up about her coactors Juhi says, "It's a great starcast with the right mix of seasoned as well as new faces.  And that's what makes it interesting, as there's something to learn from the experienced as well as catch on to the enthusiasm from those who have just started the journey.  This is the first time I have worked with Shabana Ji who is a truly known actress in terms of her talent. I remember the first time she read the script and listened to the role, and just got so taken up with the whole thing! She even took the film's designer to shop with her for her film wardrobe, which truly matches her character of a teacher onscreen.  I was taken back as I have always felt that I get completely involved in my projects but I never have gone to this length and looked into such aspects. Working with an evolved actress like Shabana Ji has been amazing."
