With IPL heading towards its close on May 24th, television is gearing up for some big launches across channels.. After we heard of Sony revamping its present line-up of shows and Zee coming up with few new launches, the next channel to join the bandwagon is COLORS. The very successful channel is all set to bring in the weekend morning slot very soon.

As per our sources, "The channel is all set for a summer dhamaal by introducing weekend morning slots. They want to bring back the old days of Doordarshan when it was a norm in every household to watch their mytho and fantasy based shows every Sunday morning".

We called up Moti Sagar to know further details, "We have two shows which are launching in the weekend morning slot on COLORS. However, the timing is not decided yet. Vikram Betal is Prem Sagar Creation while Swaminarayan is mine."

Our source further quips, "Vikram Betal will air around 10:30 in the morning. Time slot for  Swaminarayan is not confirmed yet".

Telly Buzz had earlier reported that Swaminarayan would be on NDTV Imagine. "Yes initially the talks were going on with Imagine, but things did not materialize and we shifted the show to COLORS," concludes the source.

In the very fascinating tale of Vikram Betal, Vikram is played by Tarun Khanna while Betal is played by Badrul Islam. Badrul was recently seen in new Bingo ad and happend to be a NSD pass out.

Well let's see what more COLORS have to offer!!!
