"We are not eliminated from the show but had to quit due to my health reasons."

Kanica Maheshwari Ghai who is seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum has finally quit the dance reality show Nach Baliye season 6 where she had participated with hubby Ankur Ghai. The pretty actress has recently injured herself badly on the sets of dance reality show due to which the couple has decided to bid adieu.

Clarifying about her sudden exit from the dance reality show, Kanica states, "We are not eliminated from the show but had to quit due to my health reasons. I'm feeling very bad but I don't know what was destined. I had performed with the injury for two episodes but my health started to deteriorate thus had to leave the dance reality show."

Elaborating on her injuries, Kanica says, "I have injured both the toes of my leg and knees too. There is a fracture and a ligament tear too. Even though with this when I performed for two and more episodes, it badly affected my health. Actually it was more of Ankur's decision about quitting the show. He doesn't want to take any chance when it comes to me."

Kanica completely supports her husband's decision and can't disagree with him about the same as she says, "I couldn't disobey him as it was only for me that Ankur came this far in the episode. Dancing is not his zone but out of the way he worked really hard. Now that when he is asking me to quit the show due to my injuries, I cannot say him no," she adds.

She says that she wants to say good bye to the show by stating the reason to the audience, "Well we will not be performing but yes will come and announce our ouster. As audience need to know of why we are quitting. They have got attached to Ankur as well thus it is necessary for us to give reason."

As the actress also has a daily soap in her kitty and who is seen juggling between the shoots for the daily soaps as well as the dance reality show, when we asked Kanica whether will she take rest from her daily soap Diya Aur Baati Hum or not, this is what she replies, "For now the whole crew is out of town as they are shooting of Sandhya's IPS training track. So for now I'm on a sabbatical. Though I have to resume shooting for my daily soap day after tomorrow but let's see how I do it with this pain."

Lastly, we asked Kanica if Ankur is okay with her decision of resuming in the daily soap or not, Kanica ends this conversation with high spirits and says, "Well he doesn't want me to go but Ankur knows my dedication towards Diya Aur Baati Hum. He will not stop me. I know that doctors have told me 3 weeks strict bed rest but I'm sure that the production will find out a way to shoot with me."
