Was extremely nervous a night before shooting the revelation scene: Aishwarya Khare of ‘Bhagya Lakshmi’

Zee TV show ‘Bhagya Lakshmi’ is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The current track of the show revolves around Lakshmi taking a firm stand against Rishi after learning about his intentions of marrying her and that he is in love with Malishka.

The revelation and confrontation scene was one of the most awaited one as the fans were curiously waiting to know Lakshmi’s reaction on learning about the betrayal. Actress Aishwarya Khare who plays the role of Lakshmi in the show aced the performance as her emotions got pierced into the viewers’ hearts. India Forums got in touch with the actress par excellence, Aishwarya Khare and asked her about the experience shooting for the exhausting scene.

Khare said, “Not only the audience, but I was also waiting for this scene. It was something completely different than what I have been doing as Lakshmi for almost 6 months now. It was a nineteen pages long scene wherein from page seven to page nineteen, I had to SPEAK. I started prepping for it two days prior than when we were supposed to shoot. I was extremely nervous the night before and called up my sister and said I don't know how I’m going to do it. I don't remember anything (laughs)".

She added, “But then once Muzammil Sir (Director) came on set and we were reading the scene, he explained me the graph and it became easier to perform. Also, he never let us break the emotions, doesn't cut in between takes so that we don't lose our mood so it comes out naturally once you get the hold of emotions. Thanks a lot, to our amazing team who helped me getting the scene beforehand. No body spoke to me that day so I could be in my mood. I’m blessed to have the best team for the show. It's the best scene of my entire career”.

Lakshmi has been shown as a simple girl who gives priority to others and not herself and hence seeing the character get so strong in that particular scene was a treat for sore eyes. The makers made the scene more impactful with red sindoor on Lakshmi’s forehead and smudged kohl. Speaking about the same, Khare said, “Red sindoor and Kohl eyes were all my creative directors call. She wanted Lakshmi to look different, Dramatic and strong. And I think it just took the scene to another level. The connection that we wanted to show with Lakshmi and Matarani came out differently”.

Talking about the feedback from the fans, Aishwarya said, “People were genuinely waiting for the revelation and I think no one would have imagined Lakshmi to come out this strong. Only love and appreciation is what I am getting from the audience. It just motivates me to give my 100% in every scene that I do”.
