Waiting for months for her track, Bhavna gets replaced unknowingly in 'Shaurya aur...'

The entertainment industry can indeed be a tricky place and some cases over the years continue to shock one and all. While replacements and abrupt endings is a common phenomenon usually, actor Bhavna Chauhan faced something unprecedented. Chauhan played the role of Shagun in Star Plus' Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahaani but has now been replaced.

What makes this shocking is that the actor was seen in the first 10 episodes not to be seen later in the show and Chauhan herself came to know about this replacement only after seeing the new actor in promos.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Chauhan said, “I shot for the first 10 episodes. After that I was told that my track will be revived after two months, so I waited for it to start. Now, they have suddenly replaced me. In the last two months, I lost a few projects because I was committed to this show.”

She added, “The producers apologised and told me it had nothing to do with my performance. However, I had auditioned for the role that would have negative shades. After shooting for 10 episodes and waiting for two months, I was informed that I would not look good in a negative role. Given that I had auditioned for a negative role, it is surprising how they replaced me because they felt I would not look the part. But I have nothing against anyone. I am happy that the producers gave me an opportunity to be a part of the show. I would want to work with them in the future.”

Chauhan has been a part of several shows like Razia Sultan and films like Hassee Toh Phasee among others.
