"Himani Shivpuri will play the Nani of the female lead. Mona Ambegaonkar and Vivek Mushran will play a couple. Aditi Shirwaiker plays the daughter-in-law of Mona and Vivek. Aditi is paired opposite Rohit Bharadwaj who was seen essaying the role of Sukhi in Zee TV's Ranbir Rano. This comprises of the girl's family, while Sai Deodhar and Mihika Verma play the bahus in the boy's family", informs our source.
We called Vivek Mushran, who acknowledged that he is part of the show, but refused to speak beyond this.
We could not get thro' to Mona Ambegaonkar.
Himani Shivpuri confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I play the nani of the female lead. The show is about how arranged marriages are given prominence even in today's society. My character has a bit of a grey shade to it, while other characters are completely positive".
The promo of the show has been shot, and will be on air very soon. The show is expected to launch either in the last week of April or in the first week of May.
We tried contacting Producer Tony Singh, and even sent him a text message, but did not get any revert.
