Vivek & Priyanka tie the knot!

Vivek Oberoi and fiance, Priyanka Alva tie the knot tonight, the 29th of October in Bangalore. (For the uninitiated, the engagement of this arranged alliance had been previously reported in the first week of September)


Earlier this week Oberoi and Alva were seen in traditional attires for their mehendi ceremony.  The occasion saw a performance from Sivamani and heard DJ Jasmeet spin some dance tunes from Vivek's Bollywood ventures.


Although Bollywood folks are not expected to be seen in heavy attendance, Vivek's close friends Dia Mirza and Sushmita Sen along with designer Tarun Tahiliani shall be around for the couple's joyous union.  The producer of Prince, Kumar Taurani and music director, Sachin Gupta are also invited.


The bigger, grand affair will see Vivek and Priyanka hosting a classy gala on October 31^st in Mumbai which shall witness significant tinsel town presence, and friends and kin in larger numbers.
