Vishal Thakkar, Fenil Umrigar bag Yash Patnaik's next

Maker of Rang Badalti Odhani, Yash Patnaik, is bringing in new show on Mahua Gujrati. This is an old news we told you days back!

To dig up some more information on the same, we went back to our sources who informed us, "The show is tentatively titled as Sukanya and will go on air on October 31st which is also the launch date of the channel. The show is a thriller love story and its shooting has already begun. Vishal Thakkar, who made a mark on both television and Bollywood will be the main protagonist whereas Fenil Umrigar, better known as Sweety of Star Plus' Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? has been paired opposite him."

Vishal was last seen in Ammaji Ki Galli.

Talking about the story, the source stresses, "The show will have two different personalities coming together. Vishal will essay the character of Vishesh who is a very down to earth and anti-social person who wants to be left alone. He wishes to be a photographer rather than joining his family business. Fenil, on the other hand is totally opposite to what Vishesh is."

While all our efforts to reach Fenil Umrigar went in vain, Vishal Thakkar merrily confirmed, "Yes, I have been finalized to play the lead in Yash Patnaik's show and it was his love for me that he wanted only me to essay the role of Vishesh. Hope I manage to fulfill his expectations."
