Singer Rahul Vaidya recently claimed that cricketer Virat Kohli had blocked him on Instagram. The statement, made via social media, sparked a stir online. But it was YouTuber and former reality show contestant Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, who called out Rahul for what he felt was unnecessary drama.
In a video now circulating online, Abhishek reacted to Rahul’s claim by saying, “First of all, Rahul bhai, Virat Kohli doesn’t even know you exist. And even if he does, he doesn’t have the time to go and block you on Instagram.” He further questioned Rahul’s recent online behaviour, highlighting his frequent use of attention-seeking content. “You keep posting all these reels saying ‘saari umar main joker’…Why? Why do you need attention? Just sing, man,” Abhishek said.
Rahul had initially shared a story alleging that Kohli blocked him, possibly due to an Instagram glitch. His post read, “So guys, Virat Kohli has blocked me, as you all know. I think that too is an Instagram glitch… Instagram k algorithm ne bola hoga Virat Kohli ko ki, ‘Ek kaam kar, main tere behalf pe Rahul Vaidya ko block kardeti hoon.’”

He recalled his own experience when a similar glitch showed him blocked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Like he has the time for that? It was a glitch. Maybe it happened to you too. Virat Kohli ke paas itna time nahi hai ki tumhe block karega,” he said, urging Rahul to stay grounded. “Thoda real life mein raho yaar,” he added.
Malhan also criticised Rahul’s approach of addressing the matter in public. Referring to a recent incident, he said, “You’re going to the airport and telling paparazzi to ask him why he blocked you. Dude, maybe he doesn’t like your face, simple as that!”
Meanwhile, the controversy escalated further when Rahul targeted Kohli’s fans in another story. Frustrated by the abuse directed at his family, he wrote, “And now you are abusing me that’s fine but you are abusing my wife my sister… So I was right. That’s why you all Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers.”
This exchange has sparked discussions online, with netizens divided over whether Rahul’s claim was justified or a publicity tactic.
