Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu's 'Haseen Dillruba' to have a second installment: Reports

Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu and Harshavardhan Kapoor's 'Haseen Dilruba' had received positive reviews from all quarters. Well there is some good news for their fans now, as, Vikrant Massey is all geared up for the second part, with his co-star Taapsee Pannu. At a recent event, Vikrant not only confirmed the second installment of 'Haseen Dillruba,' but also revealed that filming will begin in mid-January of this year. Vikrant himself disclosed the news at an event in IIT Bombay.

Speaking further on the subject, the actor revealed that a lot of it will be very different. There are many new things besides him and Taapsee. It's yet another bizarre experience. Vikrant also stated that they had not anticipated that the story and the world surrounding it would be so well received. However, given the amount of positive feedback they received for the film, they decided to make a sequel. They had also left an intriguing open ending buffer for a second part.

Meanwhile, on the work front, he recently wrapped up the shooting of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘12th Fail’. Next, Vikrant is all set to be seen in ‘Gaslight’ with Sara Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Sector 36’, which also has Deepak Dobriyal in a pivotal role.
