ALTBalaji-ZEE5 series Baarish 2 has been receiving great responses from the viewers. We got in touch with Actor Vikram Singh Chauhan who essays the role of Aniket in the show. He spoke to us about his experience working with the cast, Jeetendra Sir, his character and much more.

How was the shooting experience in season 2 and how different was it from the season one?

The shooting experience for season one and season two was pretty much the same because we have become like a family after season one. Even during the shoot of the first season, all of us were so close friends and we used to have our lunch together. Our director Nandita Ma'am, I think she's the best person that I know and she used to get food from her home and that continued in season 2 as well. It was just like, I'm going to a different home from my home. That's how my shooting experience was in Baarish 2.

What were the challenges that you had to face to dwell into the character once again?

I just picked up nuances from season one because most of the homework of Aniket's character was done in season one itself. I just had to refresh my memory, I went back and saw couple of my scenes of how I played Aniket. Also, I had to find myself in Aniket rather than creating a new Aniket itself. I think a lot of people can relate to Aniket, he is someone who is hot headed, who knows what is right and wrong in his head but doesn't like to explain it to people because he is not very articulate. He knows that he'll end up in a situation, screaming or fighting so he avoids that circumstances. And many people are like that, even I'm like that. I'm not very articulate when it comes to explaining what's going on in my head. So most of the time if required I tend to avoid that situation. So somewhere down the line I could connect with Aniket.

What are the changes that we'll see in Aniket's character in this season?

I think Aniket has become more mature, he has become wiser. In season one, he was very naive and now he has grown with his experiences and he knows that what is right and what is wrong. But at the same time, he doesn't want to explain that to anyone. That's how Aniket has changed over the period of time.

What is the one best thing about your character that you found out while shooting for the series?

The best thing about Aniket is that he is a very genuine guy. Although he is not very articulate, he doesn't know how to explain himself but still he stands for what is right and what is wrong. He would never see a wrong thing happening in front of him, even if that goes against his family, his relationship or anybody. He always stands for the right thing.

How was it shooting with Asha, Sharman and the entire cast?

It was fabulous. Asha comes from the same hometown, Dehradun and whenever we meet there are so many memories that we share together about Dehradun. When Asha is there, I would be in her vanity most of the time, discussing about our life in Dehradun and how is Dehradun. With Sharman Ji, it's a different experience all together. With him, it was more of a teacher-student relationship. With most of the scenes that I did with him, I used to ask for feedback and I used to look for different ways to do a particular scene. He comes from a different school of thought when it comes to acting. That is a new experience for me, a new learning for me and I think I learnt a lot from him. With Priya, she's so full of energy, so lively that when she is around, you can always expect some prank and joke or liveliness on the set. With Nandita Ma'am, she's like a parent for me. She gets food for me, for the entire unit, she talks sweetly with everyone. So goes with the other colleagues also, Sahil has become a really good friend, he's a buddy now. We often talk. All of us have become more of friends and some have become family.

We'll also see Jeetendra Sir in this season. So how was it having him around on the sets?

He's got an amazing Aura. Honestly speaking I didn't know much about Jeetendra Ji personally because I have never worked with him or known him personally but when I met him, he was so full of energy and so sweet to talk to. What an amazing human being he is. I think there's lot to learn from him. Even when you're so successful, it's the kind of person that you are remembered for and Jeetendra Ji is a fabulous person. He keeps everyone on the same page and talks to sweetly and nicely. I was learning a lot from him.
