Vidya Malvade: Abhay 3 is different because there is a story to tell; have not seen anything this dark

Kunal Kemmu will return as the investigating officer, Abhay Pratap Singh who has the mind of a criminal and can go to any extent to solve a case. Abhay 3 will see Asha Negi, Nidhi Singh, Rituraj Singh and Elnaaz Nourozi, who were a part of the earlier season as well. However, also joining the cast are the likes of Divya Agarwal, Vidya Malvade, Tanuj Virwani, among others.

She spoke to India Forums on why people should not miss Abhay season 3, and told us,

''I firmly believe that there is a lot of content out there and people are investing time in watching good work, and if you see or watch a good piece of work you will tell everyone else. Abhay seasons 1 and 2 have done so well that it has its own fan following and Abhay 3 is bigger and better than that. I think if you have good content, they are going to grab it.''

She added,

''I think what we have tried to do in Abhay 3 is not kind of done in the Indian cinema space. I am not saying it's "Hatke" but I have not seen anything this dark being made here ever. Abhay 3 is different because there is a story to tell: the way it's told, the narrative, the way it's shot, everything is quite interesting and very new.''

Meanwhile, Abhay S1 premiered in 2019 and was an instant hit. The show returned in 2020 with another successful season and with all the success, the makers are back with S3. Ken Ghosh, who directed the first two seasons, has also directed the third season of the Zee5 series.
