The coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire nation to a standstill. The poor, diseased and the daily wage workers are suffering from a financial crisis. During these tough times, Bollywood celebrities are coming forward to do their bit and contribute in every way possible.

Joining the league of many celebrities donating graciously to fight against COVID-19, Uri star Vicky Kaushal has pledged to contribute Rs.1 Crore to the PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Vicky announced his contribution on his social media in a post that read: "While I'm blessed enough to be seated with my loved ones in the comforts of my home, there are many who are not as fortunate. In this time of crisis, I humbly pledge to contribute an amount of Rs. 1 crore to PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
