Vicky Kaushal admits to being 'kanjoos' in real life too, shares interesting anecdote with wife Katrina Kaif

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his upcoming next Zara Hatke Zara, revealed that he can be a bit of a miser in real life, just like his character from the film. During the trailer launch of the film, Vicky shared an interesting incident with his wife, Katrina Kaif, where he had to refuse to build a bar in their house because of the exorbitant price. Despite being a successful actor, Vicky admits to being frugal in some instances of his life.

During the trailer launch of a movie, Vicky was asked whether he is as stingy in real life as his character in the film. In response, Vicky revealed that he is somewhat frugal, or "kanjoos" in Hindi. 

He recounted an incident in which Katrina expressed a desire to have a bar in their home. After she selected a design and showed it to Vicky, he was taken aback by the price and jokingly suggested that he would rather serve guests himself than pay for the bar.

The Saradar Udham actor also shared that he experiences anxiety when food is wasted, except for when it comes to rajma. He enjoys eating leftover rajma chawal the following day.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' is a film set in the city of Indore, featuring Vicky as Kapil and Sara playing the role of Soumya. The plot revolves around a small-town couple who are madly in love at first but later face challenges in their relationship, leading to frequent fights and ultimately a divorce. The movie is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023. Interestingly, this movie marks the first collaboration of Vicky and Sara on-screen.
