Veere Di Wedding becomes the Third Highest Opener of 2018!

 

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar & Shikha Talsania released nationwide today.

 

Celebrating the spirit of the modern day Indian woman and above all friendship, Veere Di Wedding had cash registers ringing at the box office on its opening day, registering excellent occupancy during early shows.

 

The entertainer  already has the critics, trade and the industry raving and the positive word of mouth has worked in favour of the film ,which registered a morning occupancy of 33%.

This makes 'Veere Di Wedding' the third highest opener this year after 'Baaghi 2' and 'Padmaavat'. 

 

Trade gurus comment that this is a huge feat for the film to achieve, especially since the film is not headlined by a male star . Already a game changer in more ways than one, it is for the very first time in Indian cinema that contemporary, A-list leading ladies come together to front-line a film.
