Veer Hanuman: Maruti BREAKS Surya's pride by swallowing the sun

Lord Hanuman has been one of the most revered figures in Indian storytelling. His tales of devotion and boundless strength have been etched into the collective memory of generations, passed down through folklore, cinema, and, most significantly, television. But while many portrayals captured the dedication of Hanuman, a part of his story often remained unexplored, that of the boy and his journey which shaped him into a legend. This transformation, from a playful child to divine destiny is captured by Sony SAB’s ‘Veer Hanuman’, starring Aan Tiwari as Lord Hanuman. In the current story line of the show, Maruti, has flown up to the Surya dev to teach him a lesson despite the extreme heat. He was earlier captured by Rahu, however, he escaped Rahu's arrest and taught him a lesson instead.

In the episode of the show last evening, Maruti, throwing away Yamraj's 'buffalo,' flew towards Surya Dev to break his pride. However, he is met with endless hurdles on his way. In the upcoming episode of the show tonight, Maruti displays his power by flinging Yamraj and taunting Surya Dev. Surya Dev, enraged, prepares for battle, fueled by Indra's manipulation. To fight Maruti, Surya dev then emerges in his chariot, furious at his disrespect. However, Maruti is unshaken and he continues challenging Surya’s pride. In a fit of rage, Surya angered decides to punish Maruti and the people on earth. Surya’s heat ravages Earth, causing destruction across Kishkindha. On the other hand, Riksharaj and Sugreev try to protect the people on earth as the world faces catastrophe. However, in the end, Maruti swallows the Sun, dimming its energy and bringing relief, ending the chaos.
