Vandana Pathak is essaying the role of Gayatri Devi, Aryavardhan's mother, in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak. The show revolves around an age-gap relationship, and the actress revealed that it has layers and mysteries that will be revealed gradually.

Asked what made her accept the show, she said, “When I was narrated the story, I instantly felt that this wasn’t something we usually see on television. It had layers, depth, and mystery. The way the story takes unexpected turns, the reason behind the age gap, and the secrets that unfold—it’s all beautifully woven.”

“I immediately felt that I should be a part of it. I’m confident that once people watch it, they will absolutely love it,” she added.

Talking about the core theme of the show, she said, “Age-gap relationships aren’t explored much on Indian TV, and this show goes beyond just that. It’s a story of two individuals, with many layers and unexpected situations.”

“It’s not a stereotypical love story. There are emotional twists that make the narrative gripping. We've been receiving great feedback already. It’s a feel-good show, and I strongly believe that such unique concepts deserve space on television,” she added.

Vandana is happy to be working with Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah and shared that they are like family to her. “They are incredibly understanding, grounded, and hardworking—truly some of the finest producers I’ve worked with. Everyone who works with them wants to work with them again, and that says a lot. When the captain of the ship is good, the entire team sails smoothly,” she said.

“What stands out about Prateek especially is his knack for narration and visualization. His involvement in the project is total—he believes in the story and the team. They both give a lot of creative freedom and space, which makes the process joyful. We’re always on the same page, and I get the chance to bring in my own nuances to the character. If I ever get stuck, I can just call him and discuss alternate approaches to a scene—and he’s always receptive and collaborative. That creative trust is rare and truly special,” she ended.
