UTV all set for fiction!!

We had reported earlier that UTV after the successful run of Dance India Dance is working on three one-of-its kind reality shows, and are in talks with topmost channels.

The news coming in now is that UTV is diversifying its reach with fiction based shows too, and have in the pipeline shows which have gone thro' a lot of detailing, and are research driven.

According to our source, "UTV has been working on few projects, which offer a great variety to the audience. They have a unique love story lined up; one show is inspired from a real life story which will test the boundaries of Indian society, gently nudging Indian values and customs. UTV has also in its wings a mytho and another epic costume drama".

"As of now, talks are on with three top most channels, and the shows will be launched in a couple of months", adds our source.

We tried calling Mayuree Chaddha, Fiction Head, UTV but she remained unavailable for comments.

Let's wait and watch to know what UTV has in store for viewers in the field of fiction!!
