Urvashi Dholakia on winning 'Bigg Boss 6' but never choosing to watch it

Actor Urvashi Dholakia needs no introduction where she has been on the tube for over two decades now and has been in some of the most iconic shows. And while her stint with acting has been a total knockout, she proved her mettle with reality shows as well where she went on to win Bigg Boss Season 6 a decade ago.

That's right. Touted to be one of the most entertaining and toughest seasons, Dholakia was a clear winner and received a lot of appreciation as well. Interestingly though, unlike so many other Bigg Boss alumni, she never looked back on the show.

In a recent interview with ETimes TV, Dholakia opened up on the experience of doing it, what it meant for her career and if she still watches the show right now or not.

She first said, “For those three months when I was cut off from all the worldly things like yeh bill nahin dena, woh bill nahin dena... it was a great journey."

About if it helped her career, she said, “It is another feather in my cap. People knew me earlier on the basis of characters that I had played; they didn’t know who I was as a person. So that gave me an opportunity to show the world the real me. That's what the show is all about, it gives people a chance to show who they are. It's not easy living with 15 new people inside the house. I will call it more of an arranged marriage where you barely know people from the other side. So you have to understand and adjust to different situations. Also, it's the money why people choose to do a reality show because everyone needs to run their kitchen."

About if she watches the show right now, she said, “I don’t watch the show at all and I cannot even comment on anything which is going on."

Undoubtedly, Dholakia was one the most deserving winners of the show.
