Urfi Javed replaced by Charu Asopa in the nick of time in 'Jiji Maa'

Just days back, we reported that actress Urfi Javed who was last seen in Colors' Bepannaah would enter Star Bharat's Jiji Maa where she was supposed to play a negative role. Now, the makers have replaced Urfi overnight and roped in a new actress for the role.

According to reports, actress Charu Asopa, known for her role in Mere Angne Mein has replaced Urfi Javed overnight. From what we hear, the makers replaced Urfi due to change in characterization. Earlier, the new character was supposed to be modern and sophisticated who would wreak havoc in Falguni's (Tanvi Dogra) life and Urfi was finalised for the same. Now, the script demands the character to be more Indian and traditional.

The news came in as a big shock as Urfi was already shooting for the role. As per the latest reports, Charu started shooting from last night.

The show produced under Jay Mehta Productions also features actors Pallavi Pradhan, Tanvi Dogra, and Dishank Arora in lead roles. The show will witness some major changes in the plot post Pallavi's death and the entry of this new girl in Suyyash's life.
