Unveiling Amitabh Bachchan's futuristic transformation in 'Kalki 2898 AD' poster on his birthday

'Kalki 2898 AD' has long been on the radar of film enthusiasts as one of the most highly anticipated cinematic offerings. This science fiction helmed by Nag Ashwin, has been generating considerable buzz, not only for its futuristic storyline but also for its star-studded cast that includes iconic names like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and, of course, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

The film marks Nag Ashwin's fourth directorial venture. The anticipation surrounding 'Kalki 2898 AD' reached a new high when the makers decided to unveil a special birthday surprise for Amitabh Bachchan.

On the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan's 81st birthday, the 'Kalki 2898 AD' team took to social media to express their warm wishes. They not only extended their heartfelt birthday greetings but also shared a first look poster, showcasing the actor's character in the film. They wrote, "It’s an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @SrBachchan sir - Team #Kalki2898AD."

The unveiled poster provides a tantalizing glimpse into what promises to be a visually spectacular and immersive cinematic experience. Amitabh Bachchan's appearance exudes an enigmatic aura, hinting at the profound role he will play in the science fiction narrative.

Initially introduced as 'Project K' in 2020, the film generated substantial curiosity when Prabhas was announced as the lead actor. Subsequently, it was revealed that Disha Patani, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and more prominent talents would join the project. The film's teaser, unveiled at the 2023 San Diego Comic Con, received a positive response, further stoking the excitement surrounding this cinematic venture.

However, the film's journey has not been without its challenges, as the makers previously issued a legal notice against copyright infringement. They made it clear that any unauthorized use of the film's content, including footage, stills, music, or images, would be subject to legal action under the Copyright Act.

As fans eagerly await 'Kalki 2898 AD,' they can also look forward to seeing Amitabh Bachchan in 'Ganpath: A Hero Is Born'. Additionally, the megastar is set to make an appearance in Rajinikanth's next project with TJ Gnanavel, tentatively titled 'Thalaivar170.'
