Unlike my character Ahaan, I don't have a ‘checklist’ for a perfect partner: Param Singh

While Param’s character ‘Ahaan’ is an old-school guy who is very specific about how he wants his life partner to be - homely and family-oriented, Param Singh is poles apart in this aspect.

Sony Entertainment Television’s latest offering ‘Ishk Par Zor Nahi’ is a new age love drama that has got the viewers hooked to the screens. The plot revolves around two highly opinionated individuals ‘Ahaan’ and ‘Ishqi’ who have a very strong view about love and marriage. However, their journey is filled with innumerable twists, surprises, banter, nok-jhonk and more.

Popular actor Param Singh essays the lead role of Ahaan Malhotra in the show. While Param’s character ‘Ahaan’ is an old-school guy who is very specific about how he wants his life partner to be - homely and  family-oriented, Param Singh is poles apart in this aspect. For Param, Love doesn’t come with conditions. There are no lists and specifications, all that he looks for is ‘compatibility’ and the undeniable feeling when you know ‘This is it’.

Sharing more on the same, actor Param Singh said, “Unlike my character Ahaan in the show, I am not fixated on finding a certain type of partner. Love for me needs to be organic and free-flowing. There are no wish-lists and there are no specifications. The only thing that matters is mutual respect and empathy. We should be able to build trust and companionship amongst us. Rest, everything is secondary. She has all the right to be who and what she wants to be in life. But for my character Ahaan, family values and sanskaar mean a lot and therefore he is very particular about who his life partner should be or what qualities she should possess.”
