TV Celebs celebrate Karwa Chauth!!

Fasting for the whole day might be tedious but the significance of keeping a fast on this auspicious day is to pray and bless the lives of husbands. This day falls on the fourth day of full moon and hence is termed as Karwa Chauth.

Karwa Chauth is a holy festival celebrated by Hindu women. The day starts with a delicacy prepared by mother in law known as 'Sargee' which is to be eaten by daughter in law. Women then worship 'Karwa' goddess and start observing the fast and break the fast when moon is seen in the sky. Women are decked up in a beautiful traditional Saree; wear typical accessories thus break their fast by seeing the moon with a sip of water and sweets.

The gorgeous actress Anita Hassanandani who recently got married to Rohit Reddy a few days back seems quite excited about her first Karwa Chauth after marriage. When we asked her how is she going to celebrate Karwa Chauth, her is what she says, "I'm in Chandigarh, so the energy and vibe is very festive and positive. This is my first that I will be observing a fast and I am excited for the same. I hope I survive it.  Thanks to Face time because that's how I plan to break my fast since my husband is in Bombay."

The talented actress Neha Marda too says that Karwa Chauth is a very important day in her life, "This day holds a very important place in my life because it will protect my life that is my husband Aayushman. If he is happy, healthy and fine, there's nothing more important to me. He is the most precious gift of my life."
