Another week of TRPs is here and as usual there always are interesting updates to look forward to. There were some rising while some others falling but there is a new entry as well. Let's have a look at all the occurrences.
Making a re-entry into the Top 5 after a few weeks is Indian Idol 12. The show has been home to an array of controversies this season which includes fans giving flak to some contestants as well. But it seems that the cliche of 'love it, hate, you can't ignore it' fits well for the show as it is raking in numbers and is on the 5th spot with 2.6 points.
The numbers game can really get interesting at times. In the past, we have witnessed how a few shows, inspite of losing some viewership as compared to their previous week witness a rise in the list. That is what has happened with another Sony TV reality show in the form of Super Dancer Chapter 4. The dance-reality show lost some viewership from last week to 2.7 points but rose one spot up to the 4th position.
And talk about rising spots, and Star Plus' Imlie joins the brigade as well. We have been constantly mentioning how the 3rd position has been synonymous with the show for multiple weeks, even months. But as a surprise, Imlie just lost enough viewership last week to be slipped to the 4th spot. This week though, it grabs a good 2.6 points to re-gain the 3rd spot.
Belonging to the top-half of the table, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin remains unfazed. And while the show, expectedly clocked 3.0 points and sustained its 2nd position, it has been receiving some criticism lately for dragging away the plot by some fans. Whether or not, that will affect the show's run on the charts, we will have to wait and see.
July is the month where Anupamaa will be completing one year of runtime, and needless to say, it has been a stellar run for the show indeed. The show's current track too has multiple mega points and hence, once again the show tops the TRP charts with a massive 3.8 points.
