Triptii Dimri Tops the List as 2024's Most Popular Indian Star, Outshining Aishwarya, Samantha, and SRK

Triptii Dimri has surpassed Bollywood heavyweights like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt to become the Most Popular Indian Star of 2024, according to IMDb. The actress, who gained national fame with Animal, appeared in several successful films this year. Her notable releases include Bad Newz and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Additionally, her film Laila Manju made a successful re-release and earned good box office numbers.

Deepika Padukone secured the second position on the list. She had an eventful year, making her debut as Lady Singham in Singham Again and also starring in the sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD, marking her Telugu film debut. On the personal front, Deepika celebrated the arrival of her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, with husband Ranveer Singh.

In third place was Ishaan Khatter, who gained recognition for his role in the Netflix series The Perfect Couple. His performance was widely appreciated, earning him a boost in international popularity.

Shah Rukh Khan and Sobhita Dhulipala took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. Meanwhile, Sobhita Dhulipala made her Hollywood debut in Monkey Man and lent her voice to Deepika in the Telugu version of Kalki 2898 AD. The IMDb Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars list is compiled from the highest weekly rankings based on the actual page views of over 250 million IMDb visitors worldwide throughout the year.
