Today there is a lot of scope for the actors who play negative roles - Indraneil Sengupta

"Its extremely encouraging that the trend of finite series is flourishing these days. There is definite start and end so it can't go off track, secondly it can hold the attention of the audience because the main story is sustained. It is good for us because then we don't have to go with leaps and ages, we play what we have to play.I feel finite series is a great development in our industry," says Indraneil who puts firth his view point about the trend of finite series.

Did you take any efforts to essay this character? He says, "I have been given research material by our makers and brief about my character so, honestly, I didn't research much about the character. As far as action is concerned, I have always been a fitness freak. I would say that it is physically taxing."

Indraneil has explored his skills in films as well and has received accolades for his performance. Being a bengali, the bong actor was ecstatic to consider projects for the regional films. Speaking about the same, he says, "I can only comment about Bengali cinema, when I started doing Bengali films it was really doing good. There were many meaningful and nice movies made which were commercially a success. During that time, I thought that it will develop but  now no of films are flapping. I guess the promise that was shown is not up to the mark. Let's hope that things revive."

Do you feel content with the kind of work you have done being part of this Indusry? He answers, "I am never content, I never feel that I have done a good job. I don't like watching my movies or shows."
