To compete with Star Plus, Colors & others, a NEW channel to come on the block
And the person heading the channel is a juggernaut himself..

The current space on entertainment has been ruled by channels like Star Plus, Zee TV, Sony TV and the most recent one being Colors.
And now to make things even more competitive, a new channel is being planned to be introduced soon.
And none other than Sameer Ahluwalia, brother of Shabbir Ahluwalia will be heading the production of the channel.
The channel, tentatively titled as Evren is said to be focusing on light-hearted content as its core philosophy and even though in its nascent stage, it is being fast-tracked already.
Four shows have already been given a go-ahead and the casting for the same have begun.
If things go according to the plan, the channel should be on-air by mid or late December 2017.
