This 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' actress couldn't have been PROUDER; find out why?

Actress, Tanya Sharma aka Meera from 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' (Star Plus) had a reason to be happy and feel proud recently. Of course, her performance as Meera in the show has always been loved by one and all, but this time, the reason was rather different.

The actress posted about how elated she is as she FINALLY graduated.

We got in touch with Tanya who quipped, "Well, my parents have always been clear that my studies should remain my priority if I want to act. So, I made it a point to strike a balance between studies and acting even though we have erratic schedules. 

I completed my college education in a full-fledged manner and did not opt for a correspondence course. The past few years have been tiring for me. I used to complete my shoot and go to college as well. Infact, I was also a part of 'BCL Season 2.'"

She added, "Studying did not just mean getting a degree for the sake of it. I am glad that I managed to get an A grade and I am proud of it."

When we asked her whether she plans for further studies, she answered, "Actually, I graduated in 2016 and this was just the convocation ceremony. I am already pursuing post-graduation."

And finally, we asked whether she will continue acting or make a career in another field. 

Tanya said, "Well, I believe that I need to be enlightened about whatever I pursue. Even if I continue to act, I should have the knowledge of what I am doing. "
