This 'Parichay' actor to make a COMEBACK in films after 8 years!

Actor Samir Soni is undoubtedly one of the most loved actors on the block and has done wonders, be it films or TV.

You may still remember him as one of the brothers in Baghban, but his TV portfolio is a lot more illustrious. Playing a parallel lead in Sony TV's Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin and the lead in Colors' Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka, Samir is known by one and and all.

While, the actor added another feather to his cap by turning a director earlier this year, he is all set to be back to acting in films after a long gap of 8 years, except doing a role in Chalk N Duster two years ago.

Samir will be seen playing the role of a principal in the upcoming sequel, Student Of The Year 2 starring Tiger Shroff.

Yes! That's right. The role of the principal was fabulously portrayed by Rishi Kapoor in the first installment and it will now be played by Samir in the sequel.

The character, however, will not be gay unlike the first part; but there are some quirks that the character will have of his own. Samir and director of the film, Punit Malhotra have earlier worked on the latter's debut film, I Hate Luv Storys.

It is only fitting that Samir makes a comeback with Punit's upcoming film.

We certainly cannot wait to see Samir make a comeback, isn't it!
