We are back to the trend of replacements again, and it has really been a while since we have come across one. And this time, it the lead of a show that is getting replaced.

It was only a while ago, when we reported about how actor, Sharib Hashmi has been signed on the play the leading role in an upcoming web original by Viu, which would be produced by Bodhi Tree Productions.

Things were all good, but now, Sharib has exited the project owing to date issues. So, since then, the makers were on the lookout for an apt replacement.

The have found the same in the form of none other than actor, Vivek Mushran, who has been on the tube for a long time now.

After being a breakout star in his initial films, Vivek has wowed one and all with his roles in shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, Parvarrish - Kucch Khatti Kucch Meethi and Bhaskar Bharti among many more.

The project is tentatively titled, Jaatstars and the shooting for the same has already begun.

Apart from Vivek playing the leading role, the show also stars Paresh Ahuja, Sahil Anand and Sheetal Thakur in pivotal roles.
