This EX 'Bigg Boss' contestant to play Chandrakanta's mother in Ekta Kapoor's 'Chandrakanta'

The face-off between different interpretations of 'Chandrakanta' is getting tougher every passing day. 

Kritika Kamra has managed to create a decent buzz with 'Prem Ya Paheli? - Chandrakanta' but everyone has been waiting for Ekta Kapoor's version as it has been touted that the soap queen has decided to experiment with the creative aspect of the narration thus differentiating it from Life OK's on-going show.

And now, according to recent reports, actress Shilpa Saklani Agnihotri has been roped in to play the mother of Chandrakanta (Mahurima Tulli).

Yes. That's right. 

The popular actress has been a Balaji face for several years and is will make a comeback to TV after 2 years.

It is being said that Shilpa's character will, however, be just a cameo, where her character will die in the first episode and the saga will continue there on.
