This Eid is going to be more special for me: Hiba Nawab of ‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’

Ramzaan Eid 2023 is just around the corner.

The festival is hugely celebrated across the world. Eid marks the end of the holy month of Ramzaan wherein Muslims observe fast and seek forgiveness from the almighty. The holy book of the Quran is said to be given as a gift to mankind during Ramzaan. Mouth-watering delicacies are made along with people wearing festive clothes. Kids get gifts and cash from elders which are called ‘eidi’.

India Forums got in touch with Hiba Nawab who plays the character of Sayuri in ‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’ and asked her about her plans on the special occasion of Eid and how’s she going to celebrate the festival.

This Eid will be a little special as my mother is here so will get to eat all yummy food prepared by her. I love eating biryani so I’m very happy also this whole month is about doing good deeds and doing charity so I’ve been doing that and I keep this as my every year ritual.

I’ll also celebrate it with my family on set on Star Bharat’s ‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’ as we also do iftar together on set. On the day of Eid, I’ll call all my friend’s home and have good food and spend some good time together."

‘Woh Toh Hai Albela’ is produced by Rajan Shahi’s Directors’ Kut Production. The show stars popular actor Shaheer Sheikh in the lead role opposite Hiba.
