This actor to play the LEAD in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming 'BIG' venture on Star Plus!

Star Plus is on its toe for new shows since it is pipelining the most varied programming. After commissioning shows like Fatmagul, Ek Aastha Aise Bhi, now, the new series in thepipeline is a love story of two 'fat' people.

The show is commissioned to none other than thequeen of television industry, and that is none other than Balaji Telefilms' Ekta Kapoor. She is producing the show in co-production with ace producer Sandeep Sikand.

The show is tentatively titled 'Dhai Kilo ka Pack'. The makers are attempting to create an out of the box love story, breaking the conventional stereotypes of relationships. There are shows on similar lines such asBadho Bahu, Amita Ka Amit, Mahi Way and others. And this raises curiosity if Dhai Kilo will be up to the mark.

The excitement revolves around the lead of the show. And, it's none other tha Nisha Aur Uske Cousins' star Meherzan Mazda. He will be playing the lead protagonist in the show. The determined actor is putting on weight to meet the needs of the character.

The crew has started shooting for the show and most likely, the show will go on air in March or April, in a non-prime evening slot.

A good buzz is obvious if giants like Ekta and Star Plus are to come together.
