However, during his break from television, the actor became extremely popular with his character of Ashwin in the comedy sketches and web series of a channel called Shitty Ideas Trending.

The channel's most popular video series has been the one where Men are termed to be the 'real victims' in marriage in the most hilarious ways.

However, in recent times, Karan Veer has been absent from the channel's sketches and several have wondered if the reason for that has been his stint as the lead in TV Biwi Aur Main.
