They've got the SWAG: Meet the Rockstars of Indian Television!

Long hair, quirky tattoos, trendy outfits and a dark vibe which portrays their struggle to rock it to the top; are the factors that define a "Rockstar".

It was Iqbal Khan, who started the rockstar trend in the industry. Even though the current crop of 'rockstars' do not look any closer to how Iqbal portrayed his part in the show, his character sketch definitely provides a guiding line to draw inspiration from.

Who knew, that angry young man Karan Patel could convincingly play a rockstar! A bad ass attitude, with a dash of swag, those passionate eyes and the whole Am-sexy-and-I-Know-it look... Bammm! The industry and audience were both blessed with the most promising actor and a true Rockstar!! 

Shabbir plays the super cool rockstar Abhi in his current show. For Abhi, it has always been music that has offered him the inner peace when he is in serious turmoil. Audience can constantly see their favorite Abhi plucking his electric guitar strings time and again in the show these days, give the fact that Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Tanu (Leena Jumani) still continue their cat and mouse game around him.

MaNan formed because of music. In fact, Manik and Nandini (Niti Taylor) hated each other and also loved each other only because of Music. It has played a very important part in their life.

Suyyash too, like his co-star from Phir Bhii Naa Maane Badtameez Dil, is a musician. In the show, where music brings Abeer (Pearl V Puri) and Meher (Asmita Sood), music is what breaks Nissar (not completely) and takes away from him his best friend Abeer.

Remember the sweet chocolate boy from Honey Singh's Raw Star? For those who did not recognize it yet, Mandy a.k.a Mohit Gaur is the same guy. For Mohit, we can say, music made him what he is today.
