There’s no pressure on me that I will ever be washed off the industry if I am not visible: Meera Deosthale

Meera Deosthale needs no introduction. The actress have proved her acting chops in the industry with her stellar performances in her daily soaps. Be it a hard-working athlete in ‘Udaan’ to an ambitious yet uneducated teacher in ‘Vidya’, Meera has conveniently carved a niche with her craft in the showbiz industry.

Like every other profession, even the entertainment industry has gone through a rough phase during COVID crisis. Many TV shows met with their inadequate end because of the pandemic. One of the shows were Meera Deosthale’s ‘Vidya’.

India Forums got in touch with Meera and asked her if post ‘Vidya’, the wait to bag another show affected her thoughts as an actress, Meera said “No! As an actor , I have decent confidence in my craft and talent. And in fact, I have no issues with the wait that I went through during covid. I am blessed with where I am right now. And now that I look back, I am glad a few things which I wanted to work out didn’t work out. God plans well”.

We asked the young actress about how she deals with the long waits and the pressure as they say 'out of sight is out of mind’, Meera quipped, “Out of sight is out of mind is for those who aren’t working towards being or coming back to work. I never went out of sight. I have been lucky that I have a good body of work that I have done in the past and I get respected a lot for it. There’s no pressure on me that I will ever be washed off the industry if I am not visible for sometime, because I know that I am always working towards doing something better in life”.

Meera is all set to be seen in a challenging character in Star Bharat’s upcoming show ‘Gud Se Meetha Ishq’.
