Star Plus recently launched an interesting show titled 'Kabhi Kabhi Itefaq Se' (KKIS). The story of the show is about two different individuals getting married amid confusing situations. The show is produced by ace production house Cockrow and Shaika Films. The production house produces ongoing shows like 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' and 'Choti Sardarni'.

India Forums got in touch with the Creative Director of the show Siddhartha Vankar and asked him if the team felt the pressure of expectations since they've delivered popular shows in the past, Vankar said, "Somewhere yes, there was an unsaid pressure when we were setting up 'Kabhi Kabhi Itefaq Se', but we never took it that way. Even when we launched 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin', we didn't have any pressures because it was a very uncharted territory for us, we just told the story from the heart and that's what we are doing in KKIS. We've not used the trick of trade or any formula to make this sow successful. All we are doing is, telling a story with sincerity and with full conviction and that's what we've been doing in all our shows".

Talking about casting Yesha and Manan as the lead couple, Siddhartha said, "Casting the lead pair was quite a task because we wanted somebody who's very bratty and diva to play Gungun. We weren't getting the curious mix of bratty and diva as most of people we auditioned wouldn't connect with us emotionally and subsequently, we felt they will not connect with the viewers. For Anubhav, we wanted someone who's very simple and boy-next-door. We wanted someone who hasn't been seen often on Indian Television but is a phenomenal actor as he will have to pull of the show along with Gungun. We tried a lot of combinations but things weren't working out. It was just an 'itefaq' that we got auditions sent to us by Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi respectively from different sources and we put them together and realised that they will have a crackling chemistry which will surely click with the viewers".

He added, "I hope just the way people have loved and cherished 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin', they'll shower blessings and love on 'Kabhi Kabhi Itefaq Se'. I'm sure we wouldn't disappoint the viewers".
