‘Work is Worship’ seems the motto for the entire cast of Star One’s Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah.
Recently because of the heavy rains in Mumbai, there was a landslide which made the sets of Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah at Chitrath Studios, Powai go inaccessible. The premise was covered with approx 4 ft of muck thereby rendering it inaccessible to the production unit.
But did these problems play spoilsport when it came to the confidence of the whole unit? We spoke to Anumeha, Creative Head of the show who quotes, “Currently we are shooting in Film City as the studio in Powai has to be cleared. Fortunately we had already shot some of the required sequences in Chitrath Studio and now we are shooting the Dhaba sequence in Abbu Village, Film City, which has 15 – 16 episode tracks”. When inquired if they introduced the Dhaba sequence deliberately or was it a part of the script? She quipped, "Yes it was a part of the script, but we also had the sequences where we had to shoot in Powai studio. But now due to this crisis, we will have more of the Dhaba sequence right here”.
“Annu and Ashu who are on the run will seek refuge at a dhaba on an isolated highway. The dhabawalla played by Vallabh Vyas is a martinet who takes pride in his culinary skills but the food he cooks is anything but palatable. He also has a son Harjeet played by Amir Dalvi who falls for Annu. This whole track is replete with fun where Annu and Ashu will rediscover themselves and their love for each other”, adds Anumeha on the track ahead.
Looks like there is nothing that can stop this unit from moving ahead!!
