Tarun Singh, seen in a host of episodic shows and daily soaps like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, currently enthralls the masses with his charming looks on Colors' Swaragini as Adarsh.

Let's take a look at his journey in the industry, experience shooting for the show and his aspirations into the field of acting.

My stepping stone into this industry was when I training with Barry John's academy. I was so excited that I couldn't wait to get out there and start working. Then I stepped into the real world and reality struck me when I encountered cut throat competition, casting couch and even politics to be cast in shows which made me think if I'd want to choose an alternate career.

This is when I channelized all my energy into theater and then all of a sudden Nisha Aur Uske Cousins was offered to me. After this show, there has been no looking back. Now more shows are offered to me because people are now aware of the kind of work I have to offer.

Swaragini has been a pleasant ride so far. The cast and crew are amazing, there's a vibrant energy on the set, and we joke and work hard. I can say the set of Swaragini is a perfect workplace to be in! On the first day when we started shooting, we were all strangers to each other but by the time we packed up, we were a team.

I have never got along with anyone this way. It is like we were all meant to be a part of this!

I'm looking forward to any kind of role that makes me go "how on earth do I do this?"

Challenging roles helps one grow. Every character I've played 

has given me something that will always stay with me. I've learned and grown with every role that has come my way and I hope substantial roles will come my way in future too.

Well, the track where I have two girls in my life! I went into shock when I first heard my character would be having an affair. My first reaction was "Adarsh would never do that!!" But then I thought about it and it made sense. More often than not, the quietest, straightest people have deep, dark secrets. I could relate it to real world instances.
